Univ. Prof.ⁱⁿ Dr. Elisabeth Förster-Waldl ​​is a specialist in pediatrics and adolescent medicine as well as clinical immunology and is one of Austria’s leading experts in the field of congenital immunological diseases “primary immunodeficiencies” and also the clarification of secondary immunodeficiencies. She heads the Center for Congenital Immunodeficiencies at the University Clinic for Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, Vienna General Hospital (AKH-MedUni-Vienna), and is a member of the steering committee of the Comprehensive Center for Inflammation and Immunity at the Medical University of Vienna. Her clinical and scientific work combines many years of international experience with a special focus on personalized immunological care for children and adults, modern immunotherapies, and personalized vaccination advice for diseases of the immune system.
